I’m Gerardo Serrano, an independent candidate for Congress in Kentucky’s 5th District.

I left the two-party system because neither party puts ordinary Americans first.

I will defend constitutional government, secure our borders, protect working families, and oppose endless wars without a clear mission or congressional authorization.

Iran-backed militias in Iraq are attacking American and allied interests, provoking retaliation and spreading this war across the Middle East.

Iran is responsible for those attacks. But Congress—not a militia and not one president—must decide whether America goes to war.

Congress must hold a recorded vote, define victory, disclose the cost and explain when our troops come home. I would vote NO to continuing an unauthorized war without a clear end.

America is a nation of laws. A secure border protects our communities, our workers, and lawful immigration.

Legal immigration strengthens America, but illegal entry, human trafficking, and the flow of deadly drugs weaken our security and strain our communities.

I will support stronger border enforcement, faster lawful immigration, and firm action against cartels and traffickers—while protecting due process and America’s constitutional principles.

Working families are being squeezed by rising prices for food, housing, energy, healthcare, and insurance.

Washington spends too much, borrows too much, and asks ordinary Americans to pay the bill..

I will fight wasteful spending, protect Social Security and Medicare, and support policies that reward work, strengthen local businesses, and lower the cost of living.

Social Security is not a handout. Working Americans paid into it from every paycheck with the promise that it would be there when they retired or became disabled.

Washington spent the cash and left Social Security with Treasury securities. Now the program is moving toward cuts that retirees and working families cannot afford.

I will oppose benefit cuts and another increase in the retirement age. Congress made this promise, and Congress must keep it.

Police seized my truck because they found five bullets inside—even though there was no firearm and I was never charged with a crime.

They kept my truck for 25 months and demanded nearly $3,000 just for me to challenge the seizure. The total damage to me was approximately $30,000.

A constitutional law group helped me fight back and recover my truck. In Congress, I will fight civil asset forfeiture so the government cannot take your property without first proving you committed a crime.
